Question gpu displays info screen then black screen

i built this computer today ryzen 2600 with 16gb ram and msi b450 pro m2 max motherboard and it starts fans turn on everything including gpu then after the gpu displays its info on screen theres a black screen with a small white dash in the middle the motherboards ezdiagnoses lights say its a vga fail or no detection issue but the gpu did its post?
