Hi

I recently bought a 5070 MSI Shadow 2X but when I plug in to my MB, looks like this

Yes, the GPU is correctly aligned in the PCIE slot but looks like this and can't plug any cable.

I have a MSI Mag Forge M100A Case and a Gigabyte A620M S2H MB

I will appreciate the help. Sorry the bad english.

Does it line up if you remove the screws that connect the top of the card to the case.

Are you sure you are using the correct screw holes.

Maybe just the photo but the top of the frame where it connects on the left site of photo look bent.

I edited my post, I put a video to better reference.

Compromised case GPU slots are bent and misligned you'll need a new pc case you can see in the photo that the metal looks like it's come away from the rear of the physical case.

If you look at where the GPU screws into you can see it's not aligned at the back.

I would not put a gpu in that case.

Looks like it's aligned with wrong slot in the case so it sits at wrong angle. You should remove the grill from bottom slot first and make GPU stand straight and 90 degrees to MB. . . Either that or MB is not aligned with the case.
The MB is aligned in fact. I had a 3060 and never had issues before.

That's what I thought. A friend of mine notes it in the video that the USB cables at the bottom of the MB can be the problem too because this 5070 GPU is kinda fat and makes it not being aligned. Idk.

If the motherboard was misaligned, I'd expect the IO panel to be out as well. But that looks correct and not tilted either.

An online protractor has the angle at 4°, which is pretty big as you can see. Everything else looks straight. From the video (not easy to see), it seems like you have to push it into the PCIe slot at that angle.

Either the slot is at an angle, or somehow the connector tab on the card is angled. If everything were straight and you're have to force it in with something else pushing it over at such an angle, I think damage would be happening.

Take the card, place it upside down on its top edge and take a good photo along the long bottom edge (view from the back towards the front of the card) so we can see if the PCIe connector sits 90° to the rest of it.
