The Problem started a few days ago.
Basically some games freeze for a second and my GPU usage and clock drops to 0%.

It started with Monster Hunter World, where it seems to happen every 6min.
But also in The Witcher 3 and rarely in PUBG, so its not the game.
Other games like Battlefield V seem to run fine, so idk.

I´ll put the picture with the Afterburner graph down (from MHW) and write what I tried until now.
Any help is appreciated, because it´s really annoying.

My Specs:

CPU: i7-8700K, not oc
GPU: GTX 1080Ti
MB: ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero
RAM: 16GB Dual 3200Mhz
System: Win10 Pro 64Bit
PSU: be quiet! Pure Power 10 700W

What I tried:

Nvidia driver rollback
Using another SSD
RAM test (memtest86), 4x no problem detected
Empty Standby-RAM via rammap
Reinstalling Hardware/Cables: GPU, RAM and SSDs
Malwarebytes Scan (BitComet and Torch detected, quarantined), no effect
Disabling RGB
Closing major apps in background while running the game

I turned off all RBG-Lighting and closed all major apps except for the game.
No difference.
Using afterburner, check what hardware hike and drop while playing the games .You can also use a benchmark tool to check out. I also doubt that the hard disk is causing it, try defragmenting it once if you didn't

Any recommendations for the benchmarking?
For the drives, I only use SSDs, so no defrag.

Minor update:

Since Geforce Driver: 436.48 there aren´t any drops anymore.

It´s strange because the first thing I did was a driver rollback
to exclude that as a problem but the previous one didn´t work as well.

I´ll be updating this if the error again occurs.
