[SOLVED] GPU fan making weird noise

My GPU fan is making a weird noise on startup. I give the fan a light poke and then it stops. It has done fine for the past 3 years and now I moved it into a new computer and it has behaving like this every time since. I have tried picking it apart and cleaned it out without result. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Do you think replacing the fan would solve the problem?

That sound like a faulty bearing - and yes, replacement is the only option here.
