Hi Everyone,
Issue is stated in the title and below is the story.
I have water cooled GTX 1070 and I just recently got my RTX 3080. I removed my 1070 with the waterblock still installed and gave it to my cousin as he was waiting for it for months.
I installed my 3080 successfully and went back to my cousin's house to install the 1070 (he's an average user)
When I arrived, the gpu was already installed. He put back the stock fans of the card as he is still waiting for his watercooling parts to arrive, however no display is showing but the fans are spinning and the RGB lights are on.
We tried installing his old GTX 1050Ti and it worked so now I'm certain that the 1070 is problem.
Is the GTX 1070 already dead? I'm afraid he might've missed to put some of the thermal pads in the GPU and caused it to short. I wasn't able to disassemble the GPU yet as I need to go work shortly after visiting him.
