[SOLVED] GPU fans controlled by 4pin PWM on MB

Hi guys. Im lookin for help here.

I just replaced fans on my HD7950 but I accidentaly broke fan connector on GPU plate.. So I thought that there is no way to turn on GPU fans again.

But I found adapter from GPUs Fans 4pin connector to 4pin PWM to motherboard.

I think it should work am I right ? The problem is How can I set curvature of GPU fans usage on 4pin PWM motherboard. Is there any way or software that can make it work like I need to ?

Linus had a video on YouTube doing this a while back and that was what he did. You will have to use the fan controls in your motherboard bios to control the fans though. So maybe set them at 50-60% and run a stress test to see the temps and then turn them up or down as needed.

No problem. Only thing is you might have more fan noise, but that's cheaper than buying a new card. I think the 7950 is about equivalent to a 1050ti. I owned a 7950 for a while and they weren't bad cards.
