let me preface this by saying I am a newbie still when in comes to anything hardware related. So please talk to me as if i am 5 years old because i know you guys know your stuff.
I bought this PC back in Nov, 2022, A prebuild NZXT
specs:
MB: NZXT N7 Z590
CPU: Intel i7 11700KF
Video: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080
Case: NZXT H710
The problem started about a year and a half after i got my pre-built. The GPU fans will just act up and go 100% randomly, sometimes there is a period of weeks where it doesn't go on. Other times it is constant unless i shut down my PC. Usually it'll just go back and forth up and down throughout the day, with fan speeds mixed in with periods of time where it is completely fine.
I have MSI afterburner, GPU Tweak, and NZXT CAM (NZXT's built in monitoring software) all downloaded. all show fine GPU temps when everything is proper of 33-78 celsius. And when the fans go crazy, the GPU temps stay at 25-32 celsius. When my temps get out of control, the fans don't even kick in regularly (I.E. 80+ celsius)
I also just recently cleaned my PC out with compressed air to remove dust.
I'm worried about the health of my GPU as right now i can't afford a new one if it tanks the lifespan of it. Please if anyone has any ideas of solutions, let me know.
