Hello,

i have a Gigabyte 4070 Gaming OC and the fans are not spinning when the pc is idle or low use. When playing games like Resident Evil the fans start spinning and the temps of my GPU are really good. The problem is that when i play a less demanding game like League of Legends or Rocket League the fans start and stop every few seconds. I assume that it is happening because the card while running those games, is around the temps that is set by default to start the fans and stop the fans. I want to find a solution because this continuous start-stop may wear out the fans. I tried to use the Gigabyte control center to adjust the fan curve but the application is pretty weird. Any advice? I would like to keep the start-stop as a feature to extend the life of those fans.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Not really.

I would like to keep the start-stop as a feature to extend the life of those fans.
You can try and use MSI's Afterburner and manage the fan curve from there.
