So I'm planing to buy a 4k monitor for my desktop. Specs:
GPU: R9 200 series (4GB)
CPU: AMD FX 6300 six core
8GB RAM
Windows 7

I don't play any high end graphics games, mainly leauge of legends, watching movies etc...would my PC support a 4k monitor?

Thanks :)

Solution
Depends what GPU. "R9 200 Series" dosen't full specify. Try checking what it is by running this, it only takes about 60 seconds. > http://www.userbenchmark.com/Software

Judging from the VRAM being 4GB i will assume a R9 290X, if so that would be capable of those basic games pretty fine at 4K but nothing intense. Pretty much any modern GPU can handle video playback in 4K just fine. Hope this helps :)

*Edit* If you decide you want to push intense games at 4K you will be looking a quite a pricey GPU. This will show you what to look at.

I agree with GPU-Z i probably should have said that... UserBenchmark just came to mind. Don't personally like Speccy always dodgy temps from what i have seen and besides it reads old Radeon GPUs the same as he has listed it already. As a "R9 200 Series" not the model.
