GPU for i7700k build?

Have all my parts except GPU for new build. Never used AND products before. Have always been Intel and NVIDIA. That being said which would be best for 1080 gaming.

1060 6gb or new rx 580?

Games are Battlefield. GTA. LOL.

Was going to get 1070 but money issue now. I'm coming from a 2600k and gtx580.

The 1060 wins most gaming benchmarks, but, not by much, and the 580 is priced quite nicely...

i'would go with the rx 580 but buy the 8GB version. it will preform just as a 1070 for a lot less money as the 1070. but if money is a problem and you can wait a month or so the prices of nvidea will go down becaus oef the new rx line

I'm sorry but it performs nothing like a 1070 it performs more like a 1060. The RX580 is just a tweaked and rebranded RX480.

It only performs about 5% better than the 480, barely worth the bother of even making imo.....
Idk why AMD bothered, at least with the 300 series the gains were somewhat decent.
