GPU for Predator X34 monitor

Hi,

I want to buy the Acer Predator X34 monitor, but first I need to know what to upgrade in my pc. My pc's current specs are:
- i7 4930k
- GTX780ti
- 16GB RAM

I know I might have to upgrade the GPU, so what would you recommend? Getting a 2nd 780ti? Or replacing my 780ti with a 980ti? Or something else maybe? It's important for me to be able to run most games on relatively high settings, I don't have to get max settings out of it.
If I buy a 2nd 780ti, there is this one problem, I have a Gigabyte windforce edition (GV.N780TGHZ), but I can't find this exact same version on the internet, only the OC version and a few others.

2xGTX780Ti will have more fps with all the SLI issues, consumes more power and not all games support SLI.
2xGTX780Ti will be limited also with it's 3GB VRAM. (no VRAM stacking is possible)
You can combine different GTX780Tis without problems.

However,
3440x1440 needs quite a brutal brute GPU performance (not yet as brutal as 4k), I would recommend even to get 2xGTX980Ti for some games, if you want to max everything while having high fps.
Thus, I would prefer getting a GTX980Ti for now and another one later.

But how will I be able to find the price of the GPU that I want to sell, if it 'doesn't exist' anymore on the internet? What would be a good price to sell it for and what would be the best way to sell it?

GPU to sell? The GTX780Ti, you mean?
On eBay, here where I live, you should get between €50-300 (mostly €150-250) for a GTX780Ti, depends on your luck.
The price is strange..the gap between the cheapest and the most expensive is really high but the average is not bad.
