Gpu fps counter or stats on screen while playing games

psu cooler master silent pro hybrid 850w
z77 sabertooth
i7 3770
16gb memory
asus strix gtx 1080
6 HDD running (non ssd)

what i wanna ask here is about theres alot gamers show their FPS/FREQ/TEMP on screen while on game. how do i that?

extra question
since ive change my gpu from gtx 260 to asus strix gtx 1080 theres alot of changes on my PSU kinda hot abit but is there something wrong?

or i cant run on full perfomance due my low psu? am i right?

MSI Afterburner with Rivatuner is what I use. I had to find a previous version in order to get the on-screen display to work.

I'm not sure why you lag. The on-screen display should let us know your CPU Ang GPU usage and temps to better diagnose the problem.
