Question GPU fried on my laptop ?

I couldn't come up with a good title, sorry, I think it gives you a good idea of what the problem is though.

Laptop model: Dell XPS 15 9500
CPU: Intel Core i7-10750H
dGPU: 1650 Ti mobile version
RAM: 64GB

It bluescreened a couple of times 2 weeks back (all VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE) and all of a sudden it seems like my dedicated GPU was disabled. I found out that it was disabled by running a couple of games and noticing that they all ran horribly. I checked graphics settings and I saw that "high performance" had become
Intel UHD Graphics, whereas before it was GTX 1650 Ti.

I used DDU and installed new drivers from Dell, all in safe mode. Every single program I have installed says that there is a GPU in my laptop.

I got the drivers from Dell, installed them in safe mode as I mentioned before, but it did not work.

in Device Manager, see if the GPU is flagged with a yellow exclamation mark with an error code 43. Following that, se if GPU-Z shows 0(zero)'s in multiple fields.

I got the drivers from Dell, installed them in safe mode as I mentioned before, but it did not work
Make sure you're on the latest BIOS version, then use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) in Safe Mode. Manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site, here(assuming you're on Windows 11), in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

The GPU is not marked with a yellow exclamation point and it states that the device is working fine
I used DDU and installed the drivers in safe mode before and it did not work (I used administrator as well)

What are you power setting set to, was it plugged it when you tried this?
You can try disabling the igpu in device manager. Kind of a stupid fix, but you'll be able to see if the 1060 works. I used to do it on my old laptops when switching between the gpus was horrible and some games refused to run on the dedicated gpu otherwise

I tried when plugged in yes
What do you mean by power setting? Like the power setting in control panel?

It was set to High performance

EDIT: Forgot to ask, if the GPU is really fried and it doesnt work, and I disable the iGPU, will it break my computer? Or will it run on the "Basic GPU" like safemode does?
