Hello,
I'm getting this problem with the GPU Drivers? or maybe its the windows but whenever I'm gaming my GPU decides to go Idle it happens mostly when Alt-tabbing out of a game or playing the game windowed. The GPU clock lowers down i open GPU-Z and it says PerfCap Reason - Idle even if i restart the game or go fullscreen it wont remove the perfcap i have found a quick way to fix it by downloading Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) and restarting the GPU driver from there and then gpu goes back to normal clocks but i have to restart the game. Any reason why its doing this? i have tried the setting in Nvidia control panel, Power management mode adaptive / max performance but still the gpu does this. I had no issues with older versions of Windows. Both CPU and GPU do not get hot, max temps are 70 degrees.
