So, I've been having this problem for about two weeks, when I launch a game, i can typically play it for some amount of time, then my monitor goes black for 1 second then random colors, almost like frozen, where you can't do anything.
I have tried reaseating the gpu, ram and tried direct psu cables instead of extensions.
Also, when i launch a more resource demanding game it goes straight to the colored screen
Specs:
Gigabyte B450M-ds3h
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
AMD (asus) rx580 8gb
16gb hyperx fury 3200mhz
600w thermaltake psu (bronze rating)
I've had this pc for almost 2 and a half years now, everything has been working perfect, had no issues, also i have the newest drivers for every component (tried rollback for gpu, still didn't work)

Solution
hello!
this is my first time on the forum, and i think i know the answer.

There is this really cool software called display driver uninstaller and it kinda does the hard part for you. it Clean installs your display/graphics drivers and sometimes it could fix your problem. (i havent tried it but it would be worth a shot)

Typically around 50° , but i forgot to mention that when that colored screen happens, if i touch the gpu i can see it got really hot, maybe around 80° , if i restart the pc it runs fine again, and task manager says gpu temp is 70° after the restart, then it cools

Try turning off the overclock settings first and try running heavy games or benchmarking app, if it stil changes it colors without overclock try re-installing driver.

Re-installing tip: Uninstall the driver through safe mode using DDU then restart and install it in normal mode.

Exact model? Thermaltake PSUs are mostly crap, it can very well be the issue here. The weird colors are usually a sign of a faulty/dying GPU which can happen either on it's own, or with a little help from PSU.

Yeah, weird, i reinstalled the drivers like 10 times before this, it was driving me crazy.
Still no crash in CS, and Welcome to the game II is working perfect.
TYSM for the help and everything!

Hi, I'm back after two weeks, DDU did not work, it went into random colors and i said <Mod Edit> it, and not used the pc for 2 weeks, now i am on the same pc after putting the gpu in the pcieX4 slot, altough it crashed and went random colors 10 minutes ago i can see that windows works, i want to fix the issue so what parts should i get? i have the option between a gpu a cpu and a mobo basically anything not too expensive
