GPU heating problem

Hi!
I have a issue with excessive heat from my graphic cards, either the cooling isn't enough or the power supply can't handle the force. I have dug deep into the problem without finding a solution, so that's why I'm reaching out to you guys.

My graphic cards are always around 80˚C even when not pushing the limits. I know that I can manually set the fan speeds but Gigabytes graphic cards utility sucks, they are always maxed out and that really sounds awful, and the temp doesn't go down, not even with one degree!

By the way I'm gaming on a 4k display so the cards are naturally fighting hard the keep the fps :)

Any thoughts on how to maintain the graphic cards power but still keep them a bit cooler? I'm not interested in a custom water cooling setup just yet, but that will probably happen sooner or later anyway :)

Here are my specs:

  • Processor: Intel i7 4770k 3.50Ghz
    Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45
    RAM: Vengeance 16GB Kit 1600Mhz DDR3
    Graphic: 2x Gigabyte 780Ti 3gb SLI (450w each)
    PSU: Corsair HX1000i 1000w
    Cooling:
    Processor: Corsair H105 (water) + 2x 120mm fans
Chassi: 2x 180mm fans (Front intake) (Back out)

Solution
Gpu's like that don't do 450watts each, even with needing two 8 pins is it theoretically only possible to use up to 375watts.Each 8 pin giving 150watt and the pcie slot another 75watts.
The H105 blows it's heat outside i assume? You already added an extra fan at the front or maybe even better at the bottom if the psu permits that? Maybe just not the best case for sli?
What do they run at at max temp? For nvidia is 80°c still within safe temps, above 90°c would i really take a look.
Tried msi afterburner to make a custom fan profile? Haven't done that myself so look it up.
