GPU Help?! gtx 1050 ti mini

I am in the process of choosing parts for my first/new build.
I will be buying an i3 8100 cpu, i want to be able to play upcoming games like metro exodus, state of decay 2 and crackdown 3 also be able to play games like, Middle earth shadow of war and some old games that i missed. Will a gtx 1050ti be enough or do i have to go with the gtx 1060? I do not care about 4k gaming atm as i game on a 1080p monitor.. i ask as the price and my budget and the fact i would rather get my build up and running asap.

Yes 1050ti will work and is a good card but will not run everything @ high or ultra setting 1080p. The 1060 will for the most part, 6gb at least. I'd get the 1060 for a little bit of future proofing for the new rig.

You will also need and adequate psu for the 1060 with proper pcie power connection
