First, this is what I'm working with.
OS: Windows 11
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU: Nvidia 4090 FE
Motherboard: MSI X670E Gaming Plus WIFI
Memory: 64 gigs Corsair Dominator Titanum DDR5
PSU: Corsair RM1200X Shift 80 Plus Gold.
*All drivers are up to date
If I'm leaving anything out, let me know.

I'm having the following issue: At any given time, my system will shut down, and my GPU fan starts winding up, sounding like a jet engine. I have looked high and low, made calls, and all I get is "RMA your system, and we'll replace it." So this is why I'm turning to this forum now, asking for any help, solutions, or just a basic knowledge of why this is happening to my system.

Thank you.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

Got a link to this ram kit?

Use DDU in Safe Mode to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, AMD and Nvidia) then manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator. If you're using a third party app to update your drivers, that's a bad idea.

If the system shuts down then the power should be powered down. Are you referring toa black screen? If so, what is the make and model of your monitor? Try and change the resolution as well as the refresh rate in the OSD as well as Nvidia's Control Panel.

For the sake of relevance, who is saying to return what? You could source(borrow, not buy) a reliably built similar wattage PSU and see if the issue persists.
