So I went to tighten the screws for the GPU bracket, and I shook the GPU (like pinch it and move it fowards and back, really slightly though) to see if it was not sagging. (like really slightly) and it made like a little crack noise, similar to when you install components and press on the MOBO, my paranoia keeps saying to me that I screwed my GPU up. Am I being paranoid for nothing?

To note: This "cracking noise" is like a physical sound, with the PC off. Not some overheating problem or anything, just a little noise it made when I slightly shook the GPU.

Does anyone else's PC make cracking noises when you were installing the components and moving them and stuff?

It's a new PC, so I'm quite protective around it. I hate the cracking noise when installing components.

Extra question: How tight should the screws on the GPU Bracket be? I made it quite tight without going full twist force, but that should be good right?

If it works now, don't worry.

Honestly, just be careful, take your time if you have to, and you'll be fine. Many PC builds do make a few random noises when you're moving things about.

It could just be a thread or a screw catching on the stand off or motherboard somewhere. It could be anything. If it's a problem, you'll know about it when you turn it on and run it for a while. If you're running it fine now, then don't worry!
Honestly, just turn it on and then you'll see. It could be many things but ultimately none of us will really know if it was anything consequential until you turn it on. It was probably nothing. But you'll find out when you turn it on.

Every GPU sags slightly unless you're using a full GPU bracket across the case.

GPU bracket should be fairly tight, it should be tight enough to keep the GPU in place easily with no real sway or movement.

Everything seems to work fine, but I'm still paranoid due to the crack noise it made. It happens every time I try to install a component or put pressure on it slightly. Is it just a normal thing?

Yet again, apologies for the paranoia.
