Whenever I play ffxiv or some other graphics intense game, the GPU starts making a really loud rattling noise. It only stops when I close it. The GPU was recently tested by an computer store and it passed so I don't know what's going on. Its evga gforce 770. Could someone please help me understand what's going on and a possible fix?

Sounds like the fan is rubbing when it comes up to full/near full speed. Might be too much end play in the bearing(s), or it might just be the plastic shroud is too close. Run something like Furmark to get the card up to temp fast so the fan speeds up, then watch what is happening near the fan. Check that the fan cable isn't being rubbed, too. I had that on a new card once.

Weird, so I ran Furmark and all it did was increase the fan speed/noise. The buzzing was really minimal. Then I opened up FFXIV again and the buzzing got louder than the fans. Also I don't see any cables hitting the GPU fan and it sounds like it's coming from directly inside the GPU.
