Question GPU memory clock dropping from 6000mhz to 810mhz ?

So I have a Lenovo Y540 laptop with a 1660 Ti and I think I have narrowed down my fps dropping problem to the GPU memory clock speeds. I have even undervolted my cpu and both gpu and cpu aren't getting very hot. When I experience an fps drop the memory clock drops from 6000mhz to 810mhz suddenly, the core clock stays about the same. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

I got a Dell G15 with RTX 3060 and I've got the exact same problem! Memory clock randomly dips and I get extreme lag spikes as a result. Did you figure out a solution or at least a cause for this?

nope and its getting worse, I am in contact with NVidia support but after a lot of tries nothing really fixed it yet. Have you found a solution in the mean time?
