I am currently running a game called rust which requires high fps and I have noticed my game is stuttering and freezing while playing but I don't know how to limit the dedicated gpu memory
when running the game its using 7.5 out of 8 GB under the dedicated GPU memory tab in the task manager.
I would like to have 4.5 out of 8gb instead for the best performance.
My graphics card is a
NVIDIA - GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB GDDR6X PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card

I have searched all over and found that people know how to increase it but not decrease the core amount.
If you have any solution your help would be greatly appreciated.
I also have ISLC running in my game to get the most accurate representation.

Hey there,

Can you list your full PC specs, and also your monitor make/model.

Rust is not a demanding game, and should not be using anywhere near 8gb vram.

What power profile are you currently running?

Are all your systems drivers, and GPU drivers up to date?

Cheers
