I am new to this so someone with some knowledge please advise.

I found a msi 5500xt 8gb for sale (410$ cad- including taxes and shipping) is this card worth it?
Open to suggestions for a different card in the price range if they are available.

The prices are roughly the same but all the places I checked are out of stock.

1660 super and 5500Xt are similar but 1660 super is a little bit better in gaming.
But if 5500XT is your only option in that budget range then i would go for it.
