GPU not displaying

I have checked the power cables and have tried both PCI slots on my mobile, the gpu was tested and works. All LEDs light up and the fans spin for around 5-10 seconds before stoping. The pc works fine when running off integrated graphics and I am very confused as to what the issue is.

I5 8600k
Asrock extreme 4 z370
Nzxt s340
Noctua NH d14
Team Vulcan ram 16 GB
Tplink WiFi card
Corsair RM 850w PSU
Samsung 850 evo 500 GB SSD
Monitor Asus predator xbm1

I also wouldn't mind knowing a way to get the pc to run on integrated graphics with the gpu installed.
