Gpu not performing as it should

I just got a new super clocked GTX 750 1 GB ddr5 from EVGA but i've seen people run the games im playing at much higher settings with the same card and i don't know why mine isn't. Im assuming its my CPU but im not sure.

CPU: amd a4 6300 dual core
PSU: 500w aerocool

If you need another spec please say.

what settings are you playing at in what games?

that is a weak card and weak CPU so i wouldn't expect much really. if you're even getting 30fps at 1080p with decent settings in the newest games, you may want to consider yourself lucky.

Decently, but it's still not a GPU with which to get high framerates at new AAA titles and you'll still be held back by your CPU.

you need to get a new CPU. that's exactly why you're not getting the frame rates other people are getting.
