Hello fellow pc users,
I am not new to pc building and I have already built 4 builds snd they all worked, I'm saying I'm not new and know my way around a pc and I have never in counter anything like this; I have just started my biggest build yet with a msi xpower z97 and a i7 4770K and for the gpu I am using an Evga titan z which does not seem to work while plugged in, the pc starts but does not do anything just stays idle like it's lagged but no display no anything just the light debug led and fans, So I brainstorm and try a different gpu which I know works just fine, no luck, so I plug the hdmi into the motherboard hdmi out for the on board graphics, boots up without a problem I am convinced that the bios settings are favoring the on board intergrated graphics to the gpu, I have done nothing at this point because at first I want to ask the community if there is a known problem such as this, or you can help me from your experience with pc and such, any help will be very helpful and I thank you in advance

Bios should have a option to disable onboard graphics , but if you plugged in a gpu then it should automatically switch to that gpu . my question would be, dose the psu have enough amps on the +12 volt rail as recommended by the card specs? Specs should show the recommended amps needed . PSU is the first thing I would consider. Next I would look for the bios version on that mobo, and if there is an update then flash the bios.

No I have enough power for shure I have a gtx titan z and a corsair 1000 w platinum power supply where exactly in the bios should i look to disable on board graphics ?? I never had to do this befor so I have no idea where to look
