Question GPU not waking from sleep mode?

HI so for a few days now my GPU won't wake from sleep mode I have an ASUS Maximus VII Ranger motherboard and when waking from sleep mode everything turns on accept the GPU and the Q-code on the MB just says E1 and if I press the reset button it seems that everything restarts except the GPU and the Q-codes cycle through until it goes back to E1 which means that I have to do a hard reset which I don't like.

I'm not sure what system info you may need but if you tell me I can provide it for you.
