Ok so i have an old laptop acer aspire 5750g which is my main pc bcs im a kid and i cant buy a good laptop. So i have been trying to play games and i think the dedicated nvidia gpu isnt working or being recognised.I have installed windows 10 on it and acers website doesnt have support for it.I saw linus tech tips video a while where he managed to make a gpu without display outputs(hdmi dvi vga)
and when he went to display settings>graphics options and went to set a gpu for a program(being intel hd or the other gpu)it only showed the intel gpu,the same with me.Back then i used to play minecraft since there wasnt a good game i liked very much and my pc would run it.I used to get 120+fps with rare drops but noe i cant get 60 and it lagspikes. It has also happened with fortnite and when it came out i could play it on native 1366x768 res on all low settings and 3d resolution at 100-90% atleast above 30 and close to 60 with small hicups. Now it doesnt matter how low i go the performance will stay the same and i have even tried 700x700 stretched and its the same except quality loss, the game is not playable most of the time btw.Im looking for a fix as soon as possible.Thank you for your time.
