I recently used asus's oc scanner on my rtx 2080 o8c. It increased max clock speed by 500 mhz (1515-2050) and suggested a clock speed around 1800-1900 mhz. Is this normal for gpu overclocking and at these clock rates could my gpu be damaged? I know little about gpu overclocking so all help is appreciated.

Couldn´t find a o8c, but the usual boost (turbo) should be like 1890MHz, so it´s overclocking another 160MHz, which is also normal for an auto tuning software.
If the voltages and power were raised as well, it can decrease the lifetime of the GPU.
