Hi, so in November of 2018 I got my GTX 1060 6GB and I have been gaming on it pretty much everyday since then. On the furmark GPU stress test I was averaging 75-78 FPS and on the Heaven bench mark i got an average of 125.5fps on ultra settings. But now, i am getting about 48-54 fps on furmark and 84.9 Fps on heaven. Anyone know why this card has had such a performance hit? My Gpu temps are fine and never exceed 65c and my CPU is performing exactly the same as it was when i got it. Even the clock speeds are the same on the card but dont know why it has had such a massive performance hit. Any ideas? thanks

i3-8100
GTX 1060 6GB
8gb DDR4 3000mhz ( CPU caps it at 2400)
PSU is a Kolink 500 80+ Bronze rated PSU
mobo is a Gigabyte b360-Hd3
and I have 3 case fans if that help at all.
Thanks for the quick reply

Hi, so I feel so stupid right now haha. Turns out it was the Anti-Aliasing setting in the Nvidia Control Panel that was tanking the fps. Changed it from 4x MSAA to Off and now back up to my normal fps again ( Actually seems a bit higher now, I got 125.5fps in November on the Heaven benchmark and now I got 128.9!) I just didn't think AA could impact this much tho? Anyway, thanks for your help

I accidentally deleted my previous post though...Here it is...

I'm not fully sure about this PSU brand. Never heard of this particular model before, though the "Continuum" series from KOLINK are pretty decent . I suspect your PSU might be holding back your GPU, when it is under stress/load, IMO. Can you grab some other high-quality PSU, to test your video card ?

Btw, yes, I agree the i3 isn't that much of a powerful CPU. It might also create a bottleneck.

I went for the 8100 as I don't really play games for their graphics. All my games I play are eSports titles anyway so running them all on max settings is kinda pointless and I never play any story games so graphics don't really matter to me. I only want to run my games on 60+ fps which this setup perfectly achieves on every game I have threw at it.
