Question GPU power drops when starting heavy CPU loads -- I suspect it's a PSU problem ?

Hello, due to a issue with my GPU i have been doing a lot of testing and noticed the GPU power usage would drop whenever my CPU would get high loads.
I am able to recreate the problem in Furmark.
Start a Furmark Test: GPU uses the maximum power as stated on the board partners website - 320W
Start Furmarks CPU Burner on all cores: GPU gower drops to around 200W

I think the issue is related to a issue with my PSU, but I am not sure what the issue might be and how to diagnose it further.

Systems Specs
Motherboard: ASRock B550 Taichi
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X
GPU: RTX 4080
RAM: 4 x 16GB 3200MHz
Storage: 4 x SSD, 1 x HDD
Cooling: 5 Case Fans 140mm, 2 CPU Fans 120mm
PSU: Corsair RM850e

In theory this should be under the 850W limit of that PSU by more than 150 watts. PSU was bought about a year ago.

CPU and GPU are not overclocked in any way

Thank you in advance for helping out

If you suspect the PSU to be the culprit, it'd be a good idea to source(borrow, not buy) a reliably built PSU with slightly higher wattage than what your current unit can deliver and see if the issue persists.

Motherboard: ASRock B550 Taichi
BIOS version for your motherboard?

RAM: 4 x 16GB 3200MHz
Got a link to the ram kit used?

Thank you for your reply.

I have just ordered a brand new Seasonic Focus GX ATX 3.0 1000W as Amazon has offered me a full refund on the old PSU so i can rule that out either Tomorrow or Monday.

Bios Version is P3.40

I have installed 2 Sets of this Ram: https://www.corsair.com/de/de/p/mem...00mhz-c16-memory-kit-black-cmk32gx4m2e3200c16
They have not been bought at the same time but they use the same chips, i have checked that.
