Question GPU preference

I have a 165hz monitor I am building a computer I already have most of the parts picked out was wondering gpu though I am stuck between the 3070 8GB LHR or the 3060 12GB I plan on using photoshop and also I plan on gaming
Games I want to play
*Apex
*Valorant
*Overwatch 2
My budget is about $500 my tax return is probably gonna be 1800 and I do have a little wiggle room on that 500

Despite 3070 having 4GB less VRAM, it is overall better. And if money allows, i'd go with that, GIVEN that you have good quality 850W PSU. But if you have 650W PSU, RTX 3060 it is.

Also, why not suggest 4080/4090 while you're at it?
