GPU prices in the fututre

I'm planning on building a new PC with 1000$ Upgrades worth,
but The thing is, I have 6 months before I can order everything

I'm really interested in getting a GTX 1080 if not a 1070 ti
so my question is: 6 months from now, could there be a chance of Bitcoin/Miners droping dead?
and if so, how much would a gtx 1080 cost then?

(Note: if ur going to say "why plan something that still has 6 months to go?" I don't feel like 6 months is alot, time passes like breeze ....)

Six months is a massive amount of time in the PC world. The uncertainty created by cryptocurrency just makes it even harder. The time to plan a build in six months is in six months.

Impossible to say and we may even have new gpu’s on the market in 6 months time.

I been buying my new computer over the past 6 months case first then memory power supply the m2. 500 drive and next will be a 4tb hard drive and in three to 4 months finish it but then again I am a disabled vet with limited income
