GPU question

I'm a cheap pc gamer. Pentium Dual-core E5700 oc'ed to 3.5 GHz and a gt240. i recently bought a gts 250 is an upgrade for $55.00, brand new. For that prices, could I have gotten a better GPU? If so then, which one? Thanx

GT430 is much slower then the GTS250. For $55 you did pretty good. I would have spent a bit more for a GTS450 or 5750/5770, but I doubt you can find a card as good as the GTS250 for $55.
