gpu questions !

hello guys im thinking bout upgrading my gpu i already have proper psu power and motherboard and a proper cpu i dont think i5 3450 3.1 ghz will bottleneck that card hardly!
the card is XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Double Dissipation Black Edition and i saw tis bout 240 euro and i can afford it so im between wait for r9 300 series or buy that one? what do you think? and is that card a good one? i mean can i play witcher 3,battlefield 4 and minecraft(lol)

I wouldn't run radeon with intel but that's just me. Id go for a gtx 970/80.
But yes you would indeed be able to play those gamed with ease

I would advise waiting for the 300 series. Rumour has it that AMD have made a big step up in performance and that the new architecture is going to be quite powerful.

If in the worst case scenario that the new cards turn out to be a load of rubbish, you can still expect that the price of the 200 series will have dropped to reflect the introduction of the new cards.

If you wait, it's basically a win-win situation. You either get a more powerful card, or the card you're looking at for less.

And there's nothing wrong with running Radeon cards on an Intel based system. More often than not they perform better that on all AMD systems.

Well i can see some bottleneck with an AMD CPU and new Nvidia 970/980 GPUs just not the other way around.
