[SOLVED] Gpu random usage dips

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Mobo: Biostar b550mh
GPU: Palit rtx 3060
Ssd: Samsung 970 evo plus 1tb
Psu: EVGA 750W 80+ gold


Suffering from GPU usage dips from 90 to 0 every few mins while in gpu intensive games. Anyone has a clue on whats happening and how to fix?

Try to update the bios to the latest bios, install amd chipset driver, uninstall graphics driver using DDU, and then install the latest gpu driver.

Is the cpu running at 6 core 12 thread? if it doesn't, activate it by searching in the cpu advanced options, and find the one that will activate 1CCD, after that apply XMP, then save and exit(do this after updating bios).

also put the ram on slot 2 and 4 just incase you misplace it

make sure you downloaded the correct bios, since that motherboard have 2 revisions, 6.0 and 6.1
