I've built a brand new pc over a month ago, Ive been using it on the daily basis with no issues and whatsoever but 3 days ago I noticed that my PC began taking more time to start up, It takes 5 minutes to boot up and sometimes even more,. and when it does, it would randomly freeze here and there, even when clicking 'refresh' it still lagged and froze, and it kept being like that for over 3 days now, I have to wait like 15-30 minutes after turning it on before I could properly use it.
Now when it comes to gaming, there is absolutely no issues, FPS is stable and it performs as it should, although a bit of stuttering here and there but nothing to worry about. I decided to search it up on youtube and optimize my pc for the better. I went over a couple of methods and optimizations but that unfortunately did nothing. my specs are ok so the pc should be able to handle normal tasks on desktop without lagging. I ran so many scans hoping to find some malwares or viruses, but no. I scanned my drive and defragment it but still, nothing.

Ryzen 5 3600
B450M pro r2.0
16GB (8x2) DDR4 3200MHz (XMP ENABLED)
RX 5700 XT
650W PSU
500GB HDD (I strongly believe that this what might be causing the issue but its been working just fine ever since I bought it which was over a month ago, now suddenly my pc is slow.)
Any thoughts? I'm hesitant cus Im gonna to lose my data but I'm thinking of doing a clean reinstallation of windows and fully reset my pc
