[SOLVED] GPU replacement for a damaged GTX 650 Ti?

Friend of mine, had her soda on top of her vented computer case and unfortunately spilled it inside. She doesn't believe the soda hit her motherboard, but it definitely landed on the back of her graphics card. It's been one day since the accident. When she turns on the computer, the single case fan spins, the motherboard power light comes on, and the wi-fi adapter card power light illuminates, but no image comes up on either of her two monitors. I'd like her to buy a new GPU on the chance that it's the only damaged component. What would be a good replacement? I was thinking about 1650 Super, but it's currently $190 for a MSI GTX 1650 Super Gaming X card at Best Buy. Any other suggestions?

Yes yes yes, I'm very aware that her computer needs to be replaced in it's entirety, but money is very tight at this juncture in her life. But she can afford a new GPU if necessary. She has two monitors; one connected by VGA cable-to-DVI adapter-to-GPU / and the other is straight HDMI cable.

Solution
I have a very similar system with the same gpu for my little brother.

While we have a much stronger psu (since we replaced it recently) we put a used gtx 970 in it we found for 80$. You sometimes can find them at even lower prices.
A gtx 1050 Ti will also be very good.

If you want the best price to performance for lower end, try finding a 2nd hand thing.
the 70 (1070, 770, 970 etc) usually goes down a lot, and even the 770 is a very respectable card that can game at 1080p 60fps.

EDIT:
BUT BEFORE YOU DO THAT
take out the gpu and try running on integrated graphics to check the gpu is actually the only thing that died.!!!
