GPU Running HOT

As the title says my GPU is running hotter than I think is average. It idles at around 50-55C and while gaming it reaches 75-80C depending on the ambient temperature. My CPU runs at 25-30C idle and 50-55C when gaming. Also if it's worth mentioning, my PSU feels very hot to the touch and it sits about 6 inches below the GPU. Here are my PC specs:

CPU = FX 9370 @ 4.4GHz
CPU Cooler = CM TPC 812
Motherboard = ASUS Sabertooth 990fx r2.0
GPU = MSI R9 280x @ Stock
Case = Rosewill Throne (with side panel window and NOT with the large side fan)
PSU = Corsair RM850 850w

I'm not sure how my CPU's temps are perfectly normal while my GPU temps make it look like it's being run in a very small Desktop Case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your temps are not unusual. If you want to change them, install one of the GPU overclocking suites like MSI Afterburner and adjust the curve for the fan speeds under various load conditions.

AMD GPUs run hot and your temps are within the 'normal' range for the card.
