GPU Safe temps

What is the range of safe temperature for most GPUs?

I'm using a Sapphire Radeon HD7770 GHz Ed by the way

and im getting temperature readings of 70 when playing watch dogs on medium settings

is this temp safe?

well generally gpus can handle till 100 C

while your gpu is in the safe range it is not exactly normal

NOTE - please mention your ambient temps

try cleaning your cpu and check your fans RPM , and see if it lowers the temps

oh im sorry, ambient temps here ranges from 26 degrees(rarely) to about 37 degrees(during summer season), but right now it's 29 degrees

okay I saw the problem, the fan was not being optimized by the overclocking software(I only use this for changing the fan speeds)

now it went down to 66 degrees

70c on load is very average

amd officialy states that the cards can tolerate upto 90c
