I've seen countless videos on this topic but never really looked into a true answer. Does the sag of a GPU affect it's life or the possibility of it falling and breaking?
I just purchased a 4070 Ti Super today and I have the MSI Gaming x Trio White version of it and it sags a slight amount. Should I look into a support brace on Amazon? Does it matter?

It does matter if you're moving the setup around a lot. If its sitting on your desk and not moved that much, there wont be any need for a support, it'll be fine. if the sag is very noticeable though, you might need to consider getting one.

It could affect its life. lets say its too saggy and while you're moving it, the PCIe slot has to bear all the weight, so it might...

honestly it depends

it can damage the motherboard slot
some vendors like gigabyte wont even look at cards that have been damaged by ( cough bad design ) i mean sagging under warranty.

i personally would have a bracket just incase especially if your going to be moving the case while cleaning etc

personally from the design it should have been a triple slot to handle the extra lenght of the cooler.

A good question, and I doubt you will find a true and authoritative answer.
There are many support brackets available cheaply if your motherboard does not already have one.
Thinking about it, if you see a sag, it means that there is constant pressure on the slot which can only get worse over time.
If needed I would install one.
Me, I don't need one since my case mounts the motherboard horizontally.

It does have triple slot, I don't really know how to explain whether its sag or if thats just how it is, but basically I can wiggle (only the end not screwed in) a bit if I touch it. Is this considered sag even? I'm not sure

If the end thats not screwed in is a bit lower when viewed form the same plane than the end that is screwed in, thats is called sag
Also the specific card I bought came with a graphics card support bracket with it, but when I looked it up 90% of people say that there is no difference with or without the brace since it's so poorly made, is it worth putting on? the screws are so tricky to screw in I'm not sure it's worth it if it's useless.

Heres a link to the bracket that came with it. LMK

If you're not moving the setup around, I'd say its of no use.

All kinds of cheap ass GPU support struts on crapazon. Case fitment issues aside a bracket or strut is a good idea with zero downsides. As for the fitment, sometimes you need to loosen the motherboard screws a bit, then install the GPU, tightening down its screws, then tighten down a few motherboard screws to lock it in place, then remove the GPU to tighten down the rest of the motherboard screws. I know, tedious, but in some cases there's a fair amount of play. I had this very issue with my current case (now 10 years old). The GPU bracket still doesn't quite line up but it's within the close is close enough range. FWIW I have a zip tie taking up a small amount of weight from my 4070Ti. It goes from the back plate to the unused HDD cage. A little redneck but what works, works.

Why is it that you prefer not to use the bracket? It looks pretty solid to me. If it leads to some air leaks, use some hvac foil tape to close them up.

There's just a lot of bad reviews that it doesn't do anything to help support the GPU, I have a new motherboard coming tomorrow so I will put it on then.
