GPU seems stable on benchmarks but freezes games

So I've been trying to overclock my Asus Radeon HD 7850 Direct CU II 2GB version at stock 860 mhz CC and 1200 mhz MC. So the problem is the same as the title. I stress test using Heaven and Furmark but when i open say Tera it freezes at loading or during the gameplay. I ran both Furmark and Heaven for atleast 10 minutes each with no problems at all that i saw but right away my games seem to be having issues.

OC:
Core Clock: 1050
Memory Clock: 1450

Stock:
Core Clock: 860
Memory Clock: 1200

those a just test, the real test is the games that you play, lower your oc.

^ Not every program / game taxes your GPU the same way, you can be stable in some and not in others... You need to lower you overclock so it is stable with all your games/programs.

is it true that it's better if u overclock both clocks to roughly the same %. e.g. if you overclock CC by 30% and overclock 30% of your MC that it'll be more stable?

I was playing around with it all day today and managed to get 1035 Core 1440 Memory Stable on all my games.
