Question GPU Space Clearance

Hi everyone,

So, I have a GPU, and I’d like to mount it to the middle PCI Express slot, but I’m worried about the amount of space between the GPU and the bottom of my case. There’s about 3/4” between the two, although the bottom is perforated. Is this okay?

You want to mount it in the first PCIe slot, otherwise it'll only get PCIe x8 bandwidth rather than x16. Admittedly the performance difference between the two is typically quite small, but you might as well.

My manual has all three labeled as PCIe 16. Does that still apply?

They're all physically x16 in length, but that doesn't necessarily mean they have x16 bandwidth. See Expansion Slots section in the specs.
