hi guys i bought a g1 gaming rx480 and it is a little hot...when i run valley benchmark is goes around 85C with 70%fans when overclocked o 1390mhz and 45+voltage..When i removed the side panel temps would drop at 81C.The side panel has a hole for an intake coller and i dont hace one at all i just have one exhaust. My question is:If a buy a cooler would my gpu run cooler than having the panel off or would it be the same or worse?

more voltage your putting to your card the more heat your going to have

ive OC my GPU's to 150+ cor and 500+ mem on dual 970's with out increasing my volatge
my 1070's is has higher OC than the ones stated above dont remember off the top of my head

sounds like to me you need another exaust near the gpu

i dont know how many intakes you have or exaust or size fans
but all of that comes into play with airflow

you have to have intake and in take is taking fresh cool air from out side the case to inside the case.... and the exaust fan shoots it out

my computers i usually have have the front as an intake and the back and the top as my exaust

not having any intakes is big problem
