when I'm just watching youtube videos or surfing the web my GPU temp stays around 35c and doesn't fluctuate much. But when I start gaming the temp rises from 35 to 60c. Is this normal?
Browsing the web and watching youtube videos are easy tasks for the GPU, so it doesn't have to work hard and therefore doesn't heat up. Gaming is a demanding task for the GPU, so it heats up. This is expected behaviour.
This is very normal for the GPU. I personally have a 1080 that sits between 30-35 at an idle or just watching youtube or twitch, but when I play games it usually sits around 75-80 depending on what I'm playing. You're all good.
