GPU throttles, but the clocks are normal

So, this might sound weird, but I noticed that my GPU throttles without lowering its clocks. I'm pretty sure that this is throttling (or something that is very similar to it) because my fps are stable as long as my GPU temperature doesn't reach 93 degrees (I made sure that fps drops happen exactly when GPU is 93 °C several times), but the clocks are the same, so I can't really tell why do fps drops actually happen. That's why I'm asking for your help!
P.S. I know that 93 °C is really, really hot, but I will clear the heatsinks and stuff as soon as I will be able to.

it's a pretty old ASUS ROG G53Sw laptop with an i7-2630QM, a GTX 460M and 8gb of RAM, PSU isn't original though (ASUS R33030), motherboard is original

With which program do you log the information?
Download GPU-Z and see in sensor tab whats happening. (maybe screenshot would be helpfull)
