Hello, so I just bought i5 9600k and I am still wondering for good mobo/gpu for this cpu.
I can afford rtx 2070 super at best, but I am wondering if its necessary for me.
Can someone tell me what gpu I need at least to use full potential of this cpu?
I am going to play at 1920x1080 240hz mostly fps games (cs:go,fortnite and others similar)

Solution
Hi, thanks for answer,
But will not rtx 2070 super be too much for this cpu? I mean won't 2070 super be limited by cpu?
It won't be too much.
The RTX 2070 Super will perform a bit better with a Core i7-8700K or better performing CPU.
Of course you could OC that i5 9600k. Isn't that the point of paying more for a K series CPU?
OCing the the 9600K (5GHz) will give you Core i7-9700K like performance @ 1920x1080 in games.
In my opinion, it is always better to have a stronger GPU than a CPU when gaming.

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI / MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PLUS.
If you can afford the RTX 2070 Super then go for it.
When you are ready to upgrade the CPU later on you will get more performance from your system.
The RTX 2060 super is a good match for the i5 9600k
