Hello,
I have a very old (2012) system, but at the time was very reliable.
I use it for 3d and 2d visual work, and most recently got into GPU rendering software (like Octane, Cycles etc.)
My graphics card is really old and can't keep up with my demands (3d scenes complexity) and render times are very long. Also with the rise of RTX, i really want to be on par with current tech (naturally also be able to play the current gen games, supporting RTX technology).
So my question is - is it worth upgrading only graphics card (with let's say something like RTX 2070), or should I replace the whole system?
I wanted to avoid spending too much.
Here are the specs:
CPU: CORE i7-3770K, 3.50GHz, 8MB, BOX, LGA1155
Motherboard: ASROCK Z77 EXTREME4 /Z77/1155
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Black Heat Spreader 4 x 8GB 1600C10
Graphics card:
PALIT GeForce® GTX 570 Sonic Platinum (1280MB GDDR5)
Power supply:
PSU SEASONIC SS-750AM BRONZE
I'd really appreciate your response and help!
Thank you!
