GPU Upgrade (Used)

Hey everyone,
I am currently looking at a used GPU and I wanted to ask if this is a big upgrade from what I have. I currently have a GTX 950 SSC (2gb), and I am looking to buy a used sapphire R9 290 vapor (4gb). They are asking $200 for the radeon card but I wanted to make sure that it will be a better upgrade from what I already have.

Tom's GPU Hierarchy Chart places the R9-290 three tiers above the GTX 950. So yes, that would be a good upgrade... if you have the PSU that it takes and the case isn't too small for the heat it generates.

Awesome thanks for the reply. I got a 80 plus Raidmax PSU that's 725 watts so I should be fine.
