Hello, I wanted to upgrade the GPU in my system. My current specs are

CPU: i7-3770(non-k)
Mobo: MSI H61M-P23
RAM: G.Skill Value 16 GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 mhz
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
PSU: Thermaltake Smart 600W 80+
Monitor 1: Samsung LS24F350FHNXZA at 1080p & 75Hz
Monitor 2: Acer G246HL at 1080p & 60Hz

PCPartPicker link to my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FBL4PV

I've been doing research and have gotten conflicting information about what would be a good upgrade, from the 1060(6GB) all the way to a 1080Ti and a lot of options in between. So I wanted help on what would be good for my specific system.

Right now I play at 1080/60 most of the time in sp games and 1080/75 in titles like League of Legends. At most I'd swap one of my monitors with one at 1440p/144hziin the future otherwise I would stick with my current monitors. I'll also be swapping out my cpu cooler with a Hyper 212 Evo at the same time I swap out my GPU, in case that factors into your decision at all.

Solution
1070Ti isnt a bad investment for the games u play for the next 4 years.
You can even use it in your new system in 2 years.
As somebody that has gone from a GTX 1050 Ti to a GTX 1070(non ti) I can tell you that it is really good for 1080p/60 or 75 and will be able to hit about 144fps at 1440p with downing a few settings (expect around 100-130 fps). I do agree that you should try and get a 1070 ti `though. It's a great card.

It all depends on your budget.
Obviously the 1080Ti would be your best option,on used market it goes anywhere from 250e >
you wouldnt need to replace the psu for it,so thats a good thing.
Although your 3770 is a bit old it still does the job great in games you play, but you should replace it in 2-3 years.

I wasn't trying to get a 1080TI for $250. I wanted help on figuring out what would be a good upgrade for my system, since I'd seen threads saying anything above a 1070 isn't necessary, but also posts saying that a 1080TI would be totally fine.

I'll be using it for 2 more years probably, before I build a new system.
